Overview

Trade Waste Removal services

Trade waste removal is for builders, joiners, plumbers, kitchen fitters, bathroom fitters, decorators, carpet fitters, shopfitters and maintenance teams with one-off non-hazardous waste from a job. We cover Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, High Peak, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire for builders and landlords. The Waste Removers can load fitter waste, packaging, timber offcuts, old units, pallets and light mixed refit waste from domestic addresses, shop rows, lock-ups or small sites where access is workable. Plasterboard, rubble, soil, tiles and heavier construction waste must be described before quoting because disposal route, loading and pricing can differ. Completed collections are documented with an invoice and Digital Waste Transfer Note.

Scenarios we handle

Trade waste jobs are usually practical: a kitchen fitter left with units and packaging, a bathroom installer has tiles and boxed waste to remove, or a decorator needs bagged non-hazardous materials cleared after a short project. Photos should show the waste type, volume, access and any plasterboard, rubble, soil or tiles before a quote is confirmed.

Timber and pallets

Plasterboard caution

Plasterboard must be listed before quoting and cannot be treated as ordinary mixed waste.

Heavier materials

Rubble, soil, tiles, concrete and hardcore need clear description before pricing.

Contractor access

Rear yards, stairs, shop backs, lock-ups and small sites reviewed from photos.

Duty of Care records

Invoice and Digital Waste Transfer Note supplied for business paperwork.

Scope

What we clear

We clear bagged non-hazardous trade waste, timber offcuts, doors, units, cabinets, suitable worktops, old fixtures and fittings, packaging, cardboard, plastic wrap, pallets, carpet and underlay, metal offcuts and light mixed refit waste. Small quantities of rubble, tiles and ceramics can be reviewed by arrangement when described before booking. This service is not demolition, full strip-out, muck-away, grab hire or routine commercial waste collection. Hazardous and restricted materials must be identified before quoting and are not taken as standard.

FAQs

Answers to common questions

What trade waste can you take?
We can review timber offcuts, packaging, units, cabinets, carpet and underlay, pallets, tiles and small quantities of rubble by arrangement. Plasterboard, rubble, soil, tiles and heavier construction waste must be described before quoting.
Is plasterboard included as normal mixed waste?
No. Plasterboard must be identified before quoting because it may need a separate disposal route and pricing.
Can you clear waste from a domestic job?
Yes, when the waste is from trade work such as a kitchen refit, bathroom fit-out, flooring job, decorating work or small contractor project.
What paperwork do you provide?
You receive an invoice and Digital Waste Transfer Note with The Waste Removers' carrier details, including licence CBDU609834.
What access details do you need?
Tell us whether the waste is upstairs, in a rear yard, in a lock-up, behind a shop, on a small site or behind gates, and include carrying distance in your photos.
How do you price heavy materials?
Heavy materials are priced by type, volume, weight and loading time. Soil, rubble, tiles, concrete and hardcore must be described before quoting and may be outside a standard trade waste load.
Is this the same as commercial waste removal?
No. Trade waste removal is for waste created by trades and small contractor jobs, not routine shop, office or cafe waste.
What cannot be taken as trade waste?
Asbestos, chemicals, sharps, clinical waste, gas bottles, fuels, oils, liquid paint, solvents, adhesives, resin, bitumen, large batteries, car batteries, tyres and contaminated waste are not taken as standard.
